Our new studio! More information on the studio its name and progress will be published soon. But for now (and before we burst) here's the headline. We're creating a permanent atelier and studio! The studio is located approximately 30 minutes travel from central Nottingham on public transport and has accommodation and restaurants and coffee nearby. It's only a few minutes from both train and bus stations but has lots of parking so you can drive directly to the venue. We're looking forward to hosting some amazing one off events in the space along with regular tying, educational nights and weekends (as well as some other very exciting but at the moment secret events). We are really excited to be doing this and we hope we see you all there! D & C
Rope isn’t safe, especially not suspension. However having said that there are degrees of risk so it doesn’t mean that we should accept injuries as a matter of course, they should be few and far between. I'm always worried when people shrug off injuries to models with an ‘oh well, these things happen’. As above this depends on context, yes you're taking a risk so once in a while maybe but... When there are repeated injuries which shouldn't be occurring it’s time to ask yourself some serious questions.
This was one of our very first bondage shoots and I have to say what a pleasure it was. New to shoots though we were I think we got some good stuff here. Okissakki was great to work with and Clover captured her so well. I think this was only the second shoot we had done in our new 'studio' so getting used to things a lot.
I often say that rope is not about rope. This image is not about rope either. I'm sure that looking at it you can form your own opinions of what it is about. It's a great feeling when you get something you've been wanting to get for a while. I hope you enjoy this image as much as we do.
This was a bit of an intense shibari session. Clover spaced out very early on in the performance and even though we were up on a stage in an art deco ballroom it managed to feel very intimate. The music was perfect for the sustained mood of the show and it all went off very well.
A few phone calls later and we planned to pick up the girl from the shoot, collect Will and Ella and meet at Wimbledon Common. Clover meanwhile has changed into her schoolgirl uniform and got ID'd in Tesco while we were buying supplies. Had a good pick-nick, a good laugh and then wouldn't you know it, off into the woods for some Alfresco bondage. Few nice outdoor suspensions, much talk and laughter and an incident with a Dalmatian later and time to head off as the day cooled down.
